Hurricane Watch There are currently no organized tropical systems across the eastern Pacific basin, but we are watching an area of low pressure currently centered 600 miles to the south-southwest of Manzanillo, Mexico.

Saturday morning should be a bit better as that SW swell hits stride with chest high to shoulder + sets for the top South facing beaches. The swell angle will remain 200-205 degrees with 14-16 second intervals.

The NW wind swell will peak with waist high + peaks and 10-12 second intervals from that same 305-310 degree angle.

By Sunday morning the dominant SW swell will begin to back off, but should still kick down waist to chest high sets for the better South facing breaks. The swell angle will remain around 200-205 degrees and the intervals will drop off to 14 seconds.

The NW wind swell will remain in the equation with waist high peaks with 10 second intervals from that same 305-310 degree angle.

The tide’s a little high around 9:30 which will likely slow down the smallish surf a hair.

Monday morning looks pretty slow with as the last of the SW energy coughing up intermittent waist high sets and small background, NW wind swell fills in the gaps. It looks pretty slow but there is a decent little tide us through the morning.
