Beware of the Urban Runoff – It is advised to stay out of the water for 72 hours following any measurable rainfall. It’s always a roll of the dice, especially after a major downpour. The threat of getting sick is very real, so if you do insist on taking the plunge be sure to use ear plugs and upon exiting the ocean rinse off in hot water, use some alcohol based ear drops, and a nasal netti pot rinse for good measure never hurt anybody.

The conditions fair again variable 2-4 MPH breezes out of the West until noon and 7-9 MPH in the afternoon. There’s a 10% chance of rain and the air temp dips to 64 degrees.

For Tuesday morning we’ll see a slight uptick in size as some small, long interval NW Swell rolls in from a steep 305-310 degree angle with 14-16 second intervals. Don’t expect much but the top West facing beaches should see waist high + waves.

The conditions look to be okay in the early AM with variable winds out of the East in the 2-3 MPH range until 10AM and 4-9 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. There’s a 50% chance of rain and the air temp tops out at 65 degrees.

For Wednesday morning we’ll see a triple combo of swell but it looks like there may be some shi#%%y conditions going hand in hand with surf. The surf will be comprised of pulses out of the SW,(190-195 degrees with 14 second intervals), a Westerly angled NW wind swell, (280-285 degrees with 10-12 seconds), and NW ground swell, (305-310 degrees with 14-15 second intervals). With a mixed bag of energy and some weather involved it’ll be anyone’s guess as to what will be decent…. if anything. The top spots should go shoulder to head high +.
