I’ve decided it’s time to quit griping and just make the best of what Mother Nature has to offer… lackluster waves, shitty winds and freezing cold water… ahh the good life. I did just book a Mainland Mexico trip which should help lift me out of my mentally stoke deprived tail spin. I do feel a little better already!

Historically Nov-Feb is when we get all of our solid NW swells, well, it’s March 1st and February came and went with little more than a whimper. Definitely time to book a surf trip somewhere or head to the mountains to take advantage of the fresh powder. Anyway, someday I’ll surf again….

For Saturday morning we should see a boost in size out of NW from a steep 305-315 degrees and 14-15 second intervals around mid-day. The exposed West facing breaks should see chest to shoulder high peaks with possibly some larger waves mixing in. The water will likely be tainted from runoff and conditions look iffy at best.
