APP ISSUES: FYI – The app is shut down for the time being so just go the mobile site on your phones browser, it does exactly the same thing and you can enlarge the live stream with a pinch. The powers that be won’t let me update the APP and re-submit it because they insist it’s too similar to the mobile site…. F’N Apple store messing with me! Sorry for the interruption in service!

HURRICANE WATCH

No tropical development is expected for the rest of this week and probably through at least Saturday of this coming weekend. There is a slight chance for some new activity in the far western part of the Eastern Pacific late this weekend or early next week.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

For Friday the 13th…beware! We’ll see a nice combo of surf and another beautiful sunny Southern California Day!

Our more Southerly swell will be the dominant energy in the water with 16 second intervals from a moderately steep angle of 185-190 degrees

Secondly we’ll see a fresh New Zealand swell from a more liberal angle of 215-220 degrees and 17-18 second intervals.

Lastly we’ll get some small NW wind swell with 10 second intervals from a steep 310 degree angle.

What does that all mean??? The better South facing breaks receptive to that 190 degree angle will see chest high + sets while the more westerly beaches will only get a glancing blow from most of the energy but should see inconsistent wast to chest high sets.
