HURRICANE WATCH
Tropical Storm Daniel is located around 600 miles to the southwest of the southern tip of Baja California and will track northward during the next 12-24 hours. The window for additional intensification is narrow as the northward track will take the system into cooler waters by Monday into Tuesday. Daniel is expected to remain well offshore of Mexico and not impact any land.
We are also monitoring an area of low pressure several hundred miles southwest of Zihuatanejo, Mexico. This low center may better organize into a tropical depression or storm over the next few days. This disturbance will continue to track westward away from Mexico and is not expected to impact any land.

For Monday the SW swell will be on the fade with waist high sets from that 180-190 degree angle and 12-13 second intervals.
Some slightly more potent NW swell will fill in too. Looks to be at least waist high + from an angle of 310 degrees and 8-10 second intervals.

The conditions look okay early with with 2-5 MPH breezes out of the SE/SSE until noon and 9-12 MPH out of the SW in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 68 degrees.

For Tuesday morning we’ll dip into the knee to waist high zone up and down the coast. Our waves will be comprised of small NW wind swell from a 310 degree angle and 8-10 second intervals and a combo of small Tropical storm surf and leftover SW energy from 170-175 degrees and 12-14 second intervals.
