SURF FORECAST UPDATED 1-11-13
By Saturday swell will back down, but we’ll still see some chest to shoulder high sets for the top spots. Another brutal high tide will max out around 9:00AM, but conditions shold be mostly clean throughout the day.

The conditions look to bounce back with N/NNE winds in the 3-10 MPH zone until 11:00 and West winds to 8 MPH in the afternoon. We’ll see an air temp of 55 degrees.
On Sunday morning things will taper off quickly leaving us with waist high plus sets for the top spots. Tide is in play for mid morning and will undoubtedly kill the smaller surf when it peaks at 9:44AM.

The conditions look fair plus with variable winds out of the NE/NNE in the 6-12 MPH zone all day long. There’s a 40% chance of rain and we’ll see an air temp of 52 degrees.
For Monday morning we’ll dip back into a wave slump with the best case scenario being waist high plus sets for the most exposed West facing breaks.

The conditions look to be good for the spots that can handle a NNE wind as breezes clock in at 7-124 MPH until noon and then we’ll see mild, 5-8 MPH breezes out of the West until dark. We’ll see an air temp of 56 degrees.
For Tuesday morning things will remain on the small side with waist high sets for the better West facing beaches. The tides look favorable for the morning session, but there’s just not much swell out there, (maybe bust out the LB or a thick Fish).

The conditions look to be good in the with NE/NNE winds in the 6-12 MPH zone until around noon and 4-10 MPH breezes out of the West until dark. We’ll see an air temp of 59 degrees.
The current water temps are as follows – Newport 55 degrees, Huntington 52 degrees, the South Bay showed as 56 degrees, Santa Monica 55 degrees and Malibu 53 degrees.
