SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 2-12-13

For Wednesday morning the surf will take a slight dip in size but we should see some contestable, chest high plus waves through the morning. The tide looks favorable with another push through the morning.

The conditions look perfect as high pressure moves in and promotes NE/NNE winds in the 1-6 MPH range until around noon and mild, variable winds into the afternoon. We’ll see an air temp of 68 degrees.

Friday morning is shaping up to be a real dud as Mother Nature takes a little time off for good behavior. The top West facing breaks will wallow in the knee to waist high zone.

The conditions look great with 9-12 MPH winds out of the NE until 1PM. From there we’ll see variable winds in the 4-10 MPH zone in the afternoon. We’ll see a balmy air temp of 75 degrees.

On Sunday morning things will start off on the small side with mostly waist high sets. The good news is that we should start seeing some scout sets in the chest high plus zone start to show up late morning/early afternoon.
