For Monday morning we’ll see that steeply angled NW swell dish up inconsistent waist to maybe chest high sets for the most exposed West facing breaks.

* A huge high tide on Mon 05:36 AM 6.03 feet will undoubtedly slow things down, but it will recede rapidly through the morning.

For Tuesday morning it will be a bit smaller as that steep NW continues to die. The top spots will see sporadic waist high sets.

* Another brutal high tide at 06:20 AM 6.41 feet will suffocate any swell trying to enter the mix, but once again, it will drain out quickly through the morning.

For Wednesday morning we’ll see some fresh N/NW energy sidle in from a steep angle of 310-315 degrees. This will miss all but the most exposed West facing beaches. Those spots fortunate enough to pick it up will see inconsistent head high to OH sets.

Think above Point Conception or down in the San Diego/Baja Norte area for more of a direct hit. Even then the conditions look suspect!
