Friday morning will start off with pretty good size and then later in the day we’ll begin to see some juicier sets begin to roar into town. This swell looks to have some swagger to it with powerful, 18-20+ second intervals from a 290-300 degree angle.

The West facing beach breaks may be a bit daunting so make sure you watch it for a while before you put yourself into a precarious position!

Saturday morning will be PUMPING, with OH to DOH sets at most West facing breaks and possibly some larger, “widow makers” outsiders at the best deep water spots like Blacks etc. The conditions look very good so it will just be a matter of finding the right spot on the right tide.

Reefs and points will be the best bet and if you’re not a big fan of big surf check out some of the more sheltered South facing breaks, (this swell should get into just about everywhere).

Happy Hunting!

For Sunday morning, (Valentines Day), Cupid will continue to show us some love as solid swell hangs in there throughout the day. The surf will dip further, but continue to dish up solid OH to well OH sets for the better West facing beaches and the stand out deep water spots may still dish up some DOH bombs!
