SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 5-23-13
______________________________________________________________________________

WOW! What a great run of surf this week! Hopefully you were able to get out there a couple times and at least get a taste of it. Best local May surf I’ve seen a few years and the South swells just seem to keep coming. Hopefully the Southern Hemisphere keeps churning up storms and these hearty NW wind swell keep pushing in. My hats off to Mother Nature, after a pathetic performance this Winter she seems to be putting in some overtime. Enjoy it!
______________________________________________________________________________

By Friday morning the SW energy will start to back down but should be good for some fun chest high plus sets at the top spots.

The NW wind swell will also remain in the mix with waist to chest high plus surf for the better West facing beaches.

There’s a nice little tide push for the dawn patrol and the conditions should be clean.
