SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 6-4-13
On Wednesday morning things will start off on the small side with knee to waist high surf most everywhere. The exciting news is that some fresh, powerful, super long interval South swell, (195-200 degree angle), will begin to show late in the day and be in full effect for Thursday morning.

The conditions look tolerable with variable breezes out of the West, in the 3-5 MPH range until 10AM and 10-15 MPH out of the SW until sundown. The air temp will get up to 68 degrees.
Thursday morning is looks promising as that 20+ second, long interval South swell puts the best South facing beaches into the well overhead zone. This is a deepwater swell and will have plenty of muscle to it, so be ready to do battle. The points and reefs will undoubtedly handle the energy best. Many of the beach breaks will likely be long and walled!

On Saturday morning things will start to slowly back down but there will be no shortage of swell out there. Top spots will go head high to overhead but the periods will lessen and the consistency and power will drop off.

For Sunday morning things will continue to slowly back down with less consistent chest to shoulder high sets for top South facing beaches. Still nothing to sneeze at and it should allow for the beach breaks to have a little better shape.
