SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 4-13-14
Monday morning should see a little bump in size. A combination of NW wind swell and ground swell will put the better West facing beaches into the waist high plus range.
Some deep water 2 foot at 16-18 send interval swell will start to show later in the day. That moves up the line from a fairly steep, 185-190 degree angle and should generate some waist high plus sets by sunset.

The conditions look eehhh… with variable breezes out of the West in the 3-6 MPH zone until 11AM and and those will get up to 10-15 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp rockets up to 74 degrees.
Tuesday morning should be a little better with a mix of energy out of the NW, (Wind swell and ground swell from 300 + degrees), and that new, small but powerful S/SW ground swell from a 185-190 degree angle. The best spots should see waist high plus spots with the most exposed South facing breaks seeing some slightly larger, punchier sets!

Wednesday morning looks a bit better as the NW wind swell increases with 8-10 second intervals from a steep 310 degrees and put the top West facing breaks into the chest high plus zone.
The Southern Hemi energy will be on the fade but continue to dish up waist high plus sets, with 14-16 second intervals to the beaches that like a 185 degree angle.

The conditions look okay for breaks that can handle South winds. We’ll see variable 2-6 MPH breezes out of the South until 11AM and those will jump up to 9-13 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp dips 67 degrees.
Thursday morning looks to be a smaller version of Wednesday as the South swell continues to drop and the wind swell backs down as well. Nonetheless, there will still be some waist high plus surf for the best West and South facing beaches.
