SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 4-28-14
Tuesday morning should be another fun one, with some fresh 14-16 second ground swell from a steep 310 degree angle. That will put the better West facing breaks into the chest to shoulder high range.
The South swell will be on the fade with 14+ second intervals from that same 190 degree angle. It will be less consistent, with longer waits between the sets, but when they roll in there should be chest high plus waves for the better South facing beaches.

The conditions look excellent as high pressure moves in and generates NNE breezes in the 9-15 MPH zone all day long, (stronger below the passes and canyons). The air temp skyrockets to a balmy 83 degrees on the sand.
Wednesday morning looks a bit smaller as all swells are on the fade, but there will still be plenty of surf left, and another day of clean conditions and offshore winds!
We’ll have NW wind swell in the chest high zone, and that SW swell will continue to fade, but should dish up inconsistent waist to chest high sets at the top South facing breaks.

For Thursday morning we’ll have a combination of NW wind swell and that Southern Hemi energy will be on it’s last legs. The West facing beaches should go waist high plus and the South facing breaks will see inconsistent sets in the waist high range.

The conditions will be great again with another morning of offshore breezes in the 5-10+ MPH zone until early afternoon and those will get up to 20 MPH out of the West later in the day. The air temp jumps up to a ridiculous 90 degrees on the beaches.
Friday morning looks pretty small and the high pressure starts to break apart. Barring an act of God we’re looking at knee to waist high surf for all spots.
