Environmental conditions are conducive for gradual Development of this disturbance over the next couple of days as it Moves west-northwestward at 10 to 15 mph. This system has a medium
Chance…30 percent…Of becoming a tropical cyclone during the Next 48 hours.

Elsewhere…Tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the Next 48 hours.

Friday morning looks smaller as the SW energy continues it’s slow fade. The angle will remain 190-195 degrees but only tape out at waist to chest high on the sets.

The NW wind swell will continue to dish up waist to chest high wind peaks for the better West facing beaches.

Saturday morning looks a little better with an increase in SW ground swell from a more liberal angle of 210-220 degrees. This will translate into more breaks being able to pick up the energy. The top South facing breaks should go chest to shoulder high plus on the sets.

The NW wind swell will relax into the waist high range for the better West facing beaches.
