By Thursday afternoon there should be at least a small twinkle of light at the end of the tunnel as some 16-17 second SW energy starts to show in the afternoon. Not the big pay day we’ve been waiting for but definitely better than what we’ve had.

The angle of this one is a little steep, (195-200 degrees), but will dish up waist to chest high plus sets for the top South facing breaks. Beaches with less exposure will see a little something but it will definitely be more muted.

There’s also some small, bonus NW energy in the mix but that will toil in the waist high plus zone for the most exposed West facing beaches.

______________________________________________________________________________

By Friday that SW energy should peak with waist to chest high sets at most South facing breaks and larger sets at the most exposed beaches.

Small, inconsistent NW energy will remain in the mix but but won’t be much bigger than waist high + for the best West facing breaks.
