Friday morning looks like another lack luster day for waves with continued knee to waist high waves most everywhere.

The conditions look fair with variable winds at 2-6 MPH all day long as high pressure starts to move in. The air temp will remain a chilly 62 degrees but warm up quickly as we head into the weekend.

For Saturday morning we’ll see a very slight bump in size out of the NW from a Westerly angle of 275 degrees. Nothing to get real excited about, but the better West facing beaches should see waist high plus surf.

* Note the early high tide

For Monday morning the best West facing breaks will see an increase in size as some fresh, 16-18 second interval, 280 degree energy moves in and puts the top spots in the chest to shoulder high zone.

A massive high tide around 8AM will definitely slow things down, but conditions should remain fairly clean all day long as high pressure locks things down.

While not real big or impressive, beggars can’t be choosers, and I for one, am definitely begging!

Monday
2013-12-16 Mon 01:42 AM 2.15 feet Low Tide
2013-12-16 Mon 06:07 AM Moonset

2013-12-16 Mon 04:46 PM Sunset
2013-12-16 Mon 09:40 PM 3.83 feet High Tide

The conditions look pretty fabulous with 7-10 MPH winds, out of the NNE until noon and mild 5-7 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp will jump up to a balmy 78 degrees on the sand.
______________________________________________________________________________

For Tuesday morning that swell will already be on the way out as size and intervals take a nose dive through the day. The better West facing breaks will see chest high sets from that same 280 degree angle through the morning and fade throughout the afternoon.

Once again the morning high tide will be relevant, but conditions should remain clean all day again before high pressure checks out of town.
