For Tuesday morning that powerful ground swell should be in full swing and dish up some bruising head high to way OH surf. The top deep water West facing breaks will have larger, steam roller sets coming in on occasion so stay on your toes.

Tides, winds and swell all look good on paper so keep your fingers crossed!

The conditionslook pretty good with variable, 2-10 MPH winds out of the East all day long with the stronger breezes in the early morning and easing into the afternoon. There is a 50% chance of rain and the air temp checks in at 60 degrees.

* Beware of the Urban Runoff – It’s recommended that you stay out of the water for 72-hours following the end of any measurable rain-event. If you do choose to roll the dice be sure to wear ear plugs and shower with piping hot water after your session. Rinse your ears with an alcohol and vinegar solution and don’t be shy about busting out the netti pot or neil med rinse…

For Wednesday morning there will still be plenty of swell left in the water with the better West facing breaks going head high to well OH from that same 295ish angle.

The tides look good, (a bit high early, but that could help out with the shape at the beach breaks), but the conditions are questionable.

For Thursday morning that swell will back down a bit more, but remain solid with shoulder to head high + sets at the better West facing beaches. In conjunction with the fading ground swell we’ll see some fresh NW wind swell mix in.

For Friday morning the swell will continue to fade leaving us with less consistent, remnant energy in the chest to maybe shoulder high zone for the top West facing breaks.

Saturday morning will start off very slow with waist high plus surf being swallowed whole by a 6.35 ft high tide just before 7:00AM.

The better news is that we’ll see some new, long interval, 16-18 second interval ground swell start to weave it’s way in throughout the day. We could see some scout sets move in early but the rest of the troops aren’t due to ride into town until late morning/early afternoon. The top spots should dish up head high to well overhead sets when the swell actually does fill in.
