SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 12-19-14
Follow us on Facebook Check it out!
Saturday morning will start off very slow with waist high plus surf being swallowed whole by a 6.35 ft high tide just before 7:00AM.
The better news is that we’ll see some new, long interval, 16-18 second interval ground swell start to weave it’s way in starting late morning and continuing throughout the day. We could see some scout sets move in early but the rest of the troops aren’t due to ride into town until late morning/early afternoon. The top spots should dish up head high to well overhead sets when the swell actually does fill in.

The conditionslook pretty good with 1-3 MPH winds out of the NE/NNE until noon and West winds at 4-6 MPH into the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 64 degrees.
For Sunday morning that ground swell should be in full swing and deliver head high to well OH surf at the top deep water West facing breaks. A ridiculous high tide around 8AMcould actually prove to help the shape at the beach breaks.

For Monday morning the swell will continue to dish up head high to OH sets for the best West facing breaks. Conditions look good and keep an eye on the 6.69 ft high tide just after 8:30AM, it will obviously impact different spots in different ways.

The conditionscould go either way for the morning with the wind models calling for quite a bit of North in the breezes. We’re due to see 7-11 MPH winds out of the N/NNE until noon and 6-10 MPH out of the West into the afternoon. The air temp clocks in at 72 degrees.
For Tuesday morning the swell will drop off quickly through the day but dole out chest to maybe shoulder high sets at the best West facing breaks on the right tide.
* There’s another massive high tide at 9:21AM.
