lo res white sharkIf you haven’t seen the Video of the Great White Shark encounter, at El Porto, from 10-16-13
Check it out!

Wow!!! Surfed El Porto on the dropping tide this morning and it was about as crowded as it could be on a Wednesday at 9:20AM. Not sure where they came from, where they go when they leave, or why surfing continues to be the “cool” thing to do, but man it was dangerous out there! Don’t get me wrong, everyone has a right to surf, but jeez ow, there’s a huge distinction between surfing and being a clueless bobbing disaster waiting to happen. I liked it much better a couple weeks ago when I was out dodging uncrowded death set close outs! For some reason a double overhead bone crusher seemed much safer! Hopefully we finish strong in the second half of February!
