On Wednesday morning things will start off small with knee to waist high surf struggling to make its presence known as it fights its way through yet another jumbo high tide.
The good news is that we’re due some fresh Westerly swell from a liberal angle of 270 degrees with 14-16 second intervals. This should fill in late morning and put the most exposed beaches in the head high to OH range.

The conditionsshould be tolerable with variable winds out of the West in the 1-4 MPH zone until 11AM and 8-11 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp moves up a click to 70 degrees.
On Thursday morning that swell swell will have peaked overnight but still be good for head high to OH sets in the AM and slowly fade into the afternoon.

Friday morningshould have a little stew left in the pot with chest to shoulder high sets for the AM and a nice tidal push for the dawn patrol.

The conditions should be tolerable with variable 1-6 MPH winds until 11AM and those increase to 8-10 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp dips another notch or two to 65 degrees on the sand and there’s a 10% chance of rain.
For Saturday morningit looks like we’ll dip into waist high zone with a few larger sets for the better West facing breaks. There’s another good tide push through the prime surfing hours.

The conditionscould be good for spots that are receptive to SE winds. Looks like we should see SE/SSE breezes in the 4-10 MPH zone until noon and 7-11 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 66 degrees.
For Sunday morningwe’re looking at small knee to waist high scraps. An early low tide should allow for breaking waves but don’t expect much!

The conditionslook pretty good with variable breezes of E/SE all day long. A 50% chance of rain is thrown in the mix and the air temp tops out at 67 degrees.
The current water temps Newport 62 degrees, Huntington 60 degrees, the South Bay showed as 63 degrees, Santa Monica 63 degrees and Malibu 60 degrees.
