Along with a thunderous El Nino Winter Swell season comes the expectations of good, beach break sand bars forming and Mother Nature hasn’t disappointed in the 2015/2016 seasons. By Tuesday morning we’ll some fresh NW energy work its way into the picture and put the top West facing breaks into the chest high plus zone as it fills in through the morning. This swell will be moving in from a 290-300 degree angle with 12-14 second intervals.
This may really slow things down on either side of the high tide mark *09:18 AM 6.19 feet High Tide.

For Wednesday morning the surf will be on the decline but we will still see sets in the waist to chest high plus zone for the top West facing breaks.
There’s a nice tide push through the early morning *Wed 10:02 AM 5.84 feet High Tide.

The conditions should be pretty good again but the high pressure/Santa Ana event will be on its way out. We’ll see 5-10 MPH breezes out of the N/NNE until 11AM, (stronger below the passes and canyons), and 6-9 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 79 degrees and it’s shaping up to be another killer day.

For Thursday morning the surf will dip further leaving us with waist high + sets in the AM for the best West facing beaches.
