For Friday morning things will start off deceivingly slow in the morning with chest high plus sets for the better West facing breaks. Some scout sets from our impending swell should start arriving later in the AM and likely catch some people off guard.

This new energy will roar into town with 18-22 second intervals from a dominant 280 degree angle. With all that West in the direction is should get into every noon and cranny on the coast. Once it really starts to fill in the beach breaks will become a tough proposition, so the best bet will be the points or reefs or a more sheltered spot that can duck a direct hit.

For Saturday morning that Westerly energy will peak, with the top, deep water, West facing breaks going well Overhead to DOH +. The Points and Reefs should be the ticket and with all of the Westerly direction in the swell and even the South facing breaks should be clicking to a certain degree as well.

Lots of rips and bombing sets will be the order of the day so be careful out there… recent surf school graduates need not apply!

For Sunday morning that Westerly energy will start to back down but remain daunting with solid OH to well OH sets at the better West facing breaks.

Looks like another potentially banner day of surf out there for the taking. Good luck!
