For Friday morning this energy will hold and be good for waist to chest high plus sets at the West facing breaks that can pull in a 300 + degree angle swell.

For Saturday morning we’ll dip down into the waist to hopefully chest high zone with inconsistent sets out of the NW from a steep 300-305 degree angle.

Sunday morning will be the smallest day we’ve seen in quite some time with the best West facing breaks clocking in at an anemic knee to waist high. Too bad… the weather looks to be about as good as it gets!

The conditions look to be fantastic with NE/NNE breezes in the 6-12 MPH range until 1PM and 6-10 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 82 degrees.
For Monday morning we’ll see a light onshore flow develop, but we’ll see another shot of NW energy be in play from a Westerly 280-285 degrees with long intervals. This should be good for head high to overhead sets at the top West facing breaks.
There will also be a decent tide push for the early risers.

The conditions look sketchy variable winds out of the West in the 2-5 MPH range until 11AM and 8-12 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at a toasty 78 degrees.
For Tuesday morning we’ll see a slight dip in size but the best West facing breaks will still dish up some fun shoulder to head high sets from that same angle of 280-285 degrees. The tide push also looks great for the dawn patrollers.

The current water temps Newport 61 degrees, Huntington 66 degrees, the South Bay showed as 62 degrees, Santa Monica 65 degrees and Malibu 60 degrees.
