SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 3-19-14
______________________________________________________________________________

Thursday morning looks to be smaller with leftover wind swell, from a steep 300 degree angle. The better West facing breaks look to do no better than waist high plus.

The tide starts off low at first light and has a subtle push through the AM.

Friday morning we’ll see a steeply angled, small but long interval swell move in from 305-310 degrees. That energy will be accompanied by some smaller, short interval wind swell. The top West facing beaches should go waist high plus with possibly some chest high sets.

Due to the steep nature of this energy most spots will get blanked!

For Saturday morning is what little ground swell we saw on Friday will be on the fade. We’ll need to pin our hopes on some blustery breezes to kick up some wind swell for the AM sessions. The top spots should see that combination of energy pay dividends in the waist high plus zone for only the most exposed beaches.
