SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 3-3-14
______________________________________________________________________________

Surfed the South Bay this morning and it was like floating in giant petrie dish. Man there was some foul stuff floating around out there. Some the schmegma was unidentifiable, but it’s the stuff you can’t see that you have to worry about. When I got home I treated my ears with alcohol, hit the netti pot a couple times, took a hot shower and said a silent prayer that nothing crawled up my ass! We’ll see what happens, hopefully I don’t start growing a tail or a third eye!

By Tuesday morning we’ll a strong, 17-19 second ground swell move in from a Westerly 275-280 degree angle. This is a deep water swell and will have some serious kick to it. The top West facing breaks will be well overhead when the swell fills in. There will plenty of surf early but look for larger sets to show up later in the AM and building through the day.

Wednesday morning looks like another sizable day for waves with the top breaks pulling in overhead to well overhead sets. It will once again be due to that new, long interval ground swell from 280-290 degrees. Plenty of punch out there so the points and reefs will likely be the best bet!

Thursday morning looks be a tad smaller as that energy starts a slow fade through the day. The best West facing breaks will remain overhead plus.

It looks there will be plenty of swells filling in behind this one. Better late than never. We’ll see what type of sand bars the beaches have when the dust settles!
