Saturday morning should will toil in the waist high plus range for most breaks with the South facing spots seeing a few larger sets on occasion.

The conditions look okay with light 2-4 MPH SE winds until 10AM and 9-11 MPH winds out of the West through the afternoon. The air temp dips to 77 degrees on the sand.

Sunday morning will be seeing more small surf. Not flat, but not real enticing either, as most breaks remain in the knee to waist high range with sporadic larger sets out of the South. We should see some 12-14 second interval energy move in in the late afternoon/early evening.

Monday morning will see waist to hopefully chest high sets out of the NW. The angle of the swell will be 300 degrees with 12 second intervals.

The conditions look fair early, with variable breezes out of the SE in the 3-4 MPH zone until 10AM and those will get up to 10-12 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp dips to 66 degrees.

Tuesday morning may be a little better if the wind models hold true. The 12 second wind swell should be joined by some locally brewed wind swell from a steep 310 degrees. The best case scenario is that the top West facing breaks check in at waist to chest high plus.

The current water temps Newport 59 degrees, Huntington 58 degrees, the South Bay showed as 56 degrees, Santa Monica 59 degrees and Malibu 58 degrees.
