HURRICANE WATCH 11-8-13
The Eastern Pacific Basin remains quiet at this time. Forecast models are showing very strong wind shear throughout much of the basin and that will inhibit development through at least early next week, if not longer.
Saturday morning looks smaller with less consistent waist high surf for the top West facing breaks. Not too much to hang your hat on!

The conditions look pretty good with variable winds in the 1-4 MPH zone and 6-9 MPH West winds in the afternoon. The air temp will top out at 71 degrees.
For Monday morning we’ll see some fresh, 14-16 second interval swell, out of the NW from a steep 310 degree angle. This will put the extremely exposed West facing beaches into the waist to chest high plus zone. Looks like we’ll see an onshore flow though so the conditions will likely be less than picture perfect.
