SURF FORECAST UPDATED 1-6-13
Monday morning should have a little size with overhead sets for the top West facing breaks as the new NW swell starts to hit stride. This energy will move down the line from a favorable angle of 290-33 degrees with 14-16 second intervals. The winds look a bit unstable so I’d check the cams before doing any extensive driving.

The conditions look mediocre at best with winds out of the West in the 5-15 MPH zone all day long. We’ll see an air temp of 67 degrees.
On Tuesday morning the ground swell will back down, but still be able to dish up some chest to shoulder high sets for the top spots. We should see some locally brewed wind swell jump into the mix, so hopefully, the beach breaks will have some decent peaks. High morning tides will remain in play so expect a slow start to the morning.

Wednesday morning will be smaller and less consistent with waist to chest high sets. We’ll have a suffocating high tide of 6.65 feet right around first light but that will recede quickly through the morning.

For Thursday morning things will start off with waist high plus sets for the better West facing beaches and we’ll see some fresh, shorter interval wind swell move in through throughout the day. The most exposed West facing beaches should go head high to overhead by mid to late morning, (hopefully it shows even earlier).
