SURF FORECAST UPDATED 12-11-12
______________________________________________________________________________

Tuesday morning, so far, looks pretty small, with some tiny, steeply angled, 10 second interval wind swell. That should put the top West facing breaks into the waist high zone, (tide permitting). We will be in for another astronomical high tide just before 7AM.

We will also see some lackluster, longer interval swell show up late in the day. This energy will also hover in the waist high zone but should have a little more pop to it with 16 second intervals.

The conditions should be fantastic with East winds in the 6-10 MPH range until noon and mellow 6-8 MPH onshore’s in the afternoon. Look for an air temp of 68 degrees.

Wednesday morning should see a little more size and consistency with a combination of wind and ground swell. The exposed West facing breaks should go waist high plus on a workable tide.

The AM session will be swamped out with a GIANT 7.65 high tide at 7:44AM, so if you’re not on a flexible schedule you’ll have a hard time scratching anything up for the dawn patrol.

The conditions should be okay for beaches that can handle a South wind. The models are calling for 3-12 MPH breezes out of the SE/SSE until 1PM and 6-10 MPH West winds until dark. There’s a 30% chance of rain and we should see an air temp of 60 degrees.

Thursday morning should get another little shot in the arm as we see some new, 310 degree wind swell move down the line and put the best spots in the waist to possible chest high zone.
