SURF FORECAST UPDATED 12-16-12
Monday morning should get another little shot in the arm as we see some new, 300 degree, 14-16 second interval swell move down the line and put the best spots in the waist to possibly chest high zone.

The conditions look pretty good with E/NE winds in the 3-8 MPH range into the early afternoon and Westerly breezes in the 8-10 MPH zone until sundown. Look for an air temp of 58 degrees and there’s a 20% chance of rain.
Tuesday morning will start off on the small side with waist high plus sets for the better West facing breaks, but the good news is that some new, 16-18 second interval swell from a 295-300 degree angle will fill in late in the day. Unfortunately it looks like the winds will really whip up early and could damage the conditions for Wednesday.

The conditions look sketchy at best with 2-5 MPH, variable breezes at first light and those will hop up into double digits around 8/9AM into the 12-22 MPH range. There’s also a 40% chance of rain and we’ll see an air temp of 58 degrees.
Wednesday morning should be pretty good if the winds cooperate. The surf will be moving in out of the NW and put the top West facing breaks into the shoulder to head high plus zone, (possibly even a few bigger sets).

The conditions could go either way with variable winds out of the N/NNE in the 5-15 MPH range all day long. Look for an air temp of 60 degrees.
Thursday morning looks a hair smaller but still have some punch with shoulder to head high surf for the better West facing beaches. Conditions look good and the dropping tide should not present any major issues for the early birds.
