SURF FORECAST UPDATED 12-24-12
STOLEN: 2 brand new, silver Dakine board bags were stolen off of the roof of my Sequoia this morning. My buddy made the ill advised decision to leave them there for me and they were Grinched up while I was surfing. I was parked right around 42nd st so if you know anything about the theft please contact me ASAP. Thanks [email protected]
I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all you out there for supporting Swellmagnet over the years. We’ll do our best to make 2013 the best year yet. Happy Holidays and may a makeable barrel swing your way in the near future. Best Regards, The SM Team!
Christmas morning will be a bit smaller with waist to chest high sets for the better West facing breaks. The high tide will be in play for the dawn patrol with a 6.21 shortly after 7AM. Nonetheless, there should still be some rideable waves for those who can sneak out early.
Pretty frickin’ heavy rain last night. Make sure it looks excellent out there if you’re going to roll the dice. There is a risk of increased bacteria levels through a period of at least 72-hours following the end of any measurable rain event. Water contact should be avoided during this period, especially within 100 yards of drainpipes and Ballona Creek.
