By Thursday morning things will start to pick up again and the top West facing breaks should go headd high plus, (and possibly some bigger sets). The winds look a little unsavory and there’s still some polluted water to contend with, so weigh your options before committing to a paddle.

The conditions look pretty crummy with West winds in the 6-15 MPH range all day long. We’ll see an air temp of 58 degrees.

By Friday morning things should clean up considerably and we’ll see surf in the chest high plus zone, with 14-16 second intervals from a 295 degree angle. Another robust high tide at 8:30AM will factor into the AM session but drain out quickly through the morning.

The conditions look pretty good with NE/NNE winds in the 5-10 MPH zone until 1PM and mild 2-5 MPH breezes out of the West in the afternoon. We’ll see an air temp of 61 degrees.

Saturday morning looks smaller with just waist high plus sets for the top spots. Another fairly early high tide at 9AM will put the clamps on things for the morning, but once again, the tide races out through the day.

On Sunday morning things should pick back up again as fresh, long interval, 300 degree NW swell moves down the line and puts the top West facing breaks in the shoulder high to possibly overhead zone.

The current water temps are as follows – Newport 57 degrees, Huntington 57 degrees, the South Bay showed as 58 degrees, Santa Monica 58 degrees and Malibu 58 degrees.
