SURF REPORT for Troncones, Mexico Updated 9-29-14

Good Afternoon from Troncones, MX and Manzanillo Bay

A low pressure system sitting just about on top of us has made for overcast skies, intermittent showers and messy surf. Not that it was terrible, it certainly wasn’t. But a little all over the place and sort of choppy. There were rides to be had, if were willing to either work for them or patiently wait for it to come back to you. Most about shoulder high, but some overheads, barely.

Stopped by the beach break as well, expecting no one out and instead was surprised by half a dozen or so guys grabbing some decent waves, probably better than the point. The last few photos are the beach.

5 out on the point and 7 on the beach. A busy day for Troncones.

Looking at a possible big bump towards the middle/end of the coming week. If it hits it should last through the weekend.

Air temperature in the low 90’s and water temp is around 84. Early morning clouds most days, then sun with scattered clouds building in the afternoon. Late afternoon and overnight thunder showers at times.

Sunrise is 7:37 and sunset 19:40. High tide at 08:43 and 1.87 ft.
