SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED on 12-9-18

For Monday morning it looks like we’ll see what’s left of that last swell combine with some fresh NW energy that is slated to fill in throughout the day.

This new NW swell will roll in from a fairly liberal angle of 290-305 degrees with powerful 16-17 second intervals. The better West facing breaks should see chest high sets early and it will only get bigger as the day wears on. The sea surface should be pretty smooth all day long as our run of clean conditions continues on.

For Tuesday morning we’ll see more solid NW swell enter the fray with head high to OH + sets for the best West facing breaks. The intervals will dip to 15-16 seconds from a 290-305 degree angle.

For Wednesday morning the surf will continue to dish up good sized waves for the best West facing breaks and the top spots will see fading surf in the shoulder to head high zone out of the NW from a 290-305 degree angle, and respectable 13-14 second intervals.
