SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 6-27-13
______________________________________________________________________________

HURRICANE WATCH

Hurricane Cosme continues to weaken as it hits colder water in the Pacific. This spinner never did amount to much, but should be good for 10-12 second interval sets for
most extreme South facing breaks. It will come up the line practically sideways, (at a 165 degree angle), and be good for waist to chest high surf at only spots in the OC and a few other select breaks.
______________________________________________________________________________

By Friday morning all energy will be backing down through the day. The NW swell will only be good for waist high plus sets and the SW energy will dip in size and consistency through the day, but should still dish up some chest high plus sets, (on the right tide), for the better spots. As mentioned above, the most exposed South facing breaks will see waist high plus sets from Hurricane Cosme.
