SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 6-28-13
Hurricane Cosme continues to weaken as it hits colder water in the Pacific. This spinner never did amount to much, but should be good for 10-12 second interval sets for
most extreme South facing breaks. It will come up the line practically sideways, (at a 165 degree angle), and be good for waist to chest high surf at only spots in the OC and a few other select breaks.
For Saturday morning will be reliant upon inconsistent pulses out of the SW. The better breaks will see waist to maybe chest high sets. The Hurricane swell will be even weaker with 10 second intervals and waist high sets at a super steep 165 degrees.

The conditions should be okay with light and variable breezes in the 2-4 MPH range until 10AM and up to 12 MPH out of the West until sundown. The air temp will get up to 80 degrees.
For Sunday morning that 200 degree, SW energy will continue to fade and some new, long interval, SW from a more liberal angle of 220 degrees will be in play for the morning. Those sets should go waist to chest high.
We’ll also have some very small, NW wind swell that will produce waist high peaks for the better West facing breaks.
