SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 9-26-13
______________________________________________________________________________

HURRICANE WATCH 9-26-13

No tropical development is expected over the next 24-48 hours.
______________________________________________________________________________

By Friday morning the medium interval NW energy will taper off through the morning, but the shorter 4-6 second interval, locally brewed, wind swell should be in play for the AM. The SB channel is blowing around 30+ MPH, which should funnel some peaks down into the better West facing beaches. Top spots should go chest high plus with the possibility of some larger waves if the outer winds sustain themselves into the early evening.

High pressure moves in and our much sought after Santa Ana winds blow into town and heat up the coast.
