SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 2-10-13

By Monday morning the best West facing breaks should see some new swell, with 16 second intervals, from a 300 degree angle, dishing up chest to head high plus sets. There will be a nice little tide push for the dawn patrol and the conditions look good.

The conditions look fantastic with NE breezes in the 3-6 MPH range until 1PM and 8-12 MPH winds out of the West until Sundown. We’ll see an air temp of 60 degrees.

For Tuesday morning that ground swell will hang in there and be good for chest to shoulder high plus sets early, and then taper off throughout the day. The better news is that some reinforcement energy will slide down the line, with 14-16 second intervals, from a 300 degree angle and catapult top West facing breaks into the head high plus zone. Once again there’s a nice little tide push for the early birds.

For Wednesday morning the surf will take a slight dip in size but we should see some contestable, chest high plus waves through the morning. The tide looks favorable with another push through the morning.
