Here’s some pretty sweet pics from our friends at Kandui Resort in Indonesia
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 4-19-13
For Saturday morning the South swell should be in full swing with waist to chest high plus sets for the better South facing breaks. The OC and San O’ areas will be the best bet as the lesser exposed breaks will have a tough time pulling any energy in.
The West facing breaks will be a feeble knee to waist high and a medium high tide at first light will soften things up even more.

For Sunday morning the South swell will hold in the waist to chest high plus range and become less consistent throughout the day.
We’ll also see some small knee to maybe waist high background swell for the West facing beaches.

The conditions should be fine with variable breezes out of the E/SE in the 4-8 MPH zone until 11AM and those increase into the 10-12 MPH zone out of the West for the afternoon. The air temp will top out at 68 degrees.
Monday morning looks pretty weak with some small, knee to waist high wind swell and remnant Southerly energy.
We’ll also see some fresh, steeply angled, (not as steep as it’s predecessor at 180-185 degrees), Southerly ground swell move in late in the day. This will, once again be a difficult angle for most breaks, but top spots should see chest to shoulder high sets by sundown.

The conditions look decent for beaches that can handle a SOuth wind with SE/SSE breezes in the 3-6 MPH zone until 11AM and those will get up to the 10-12 MPH zone out of the West for the afternoon. The air temp will top out at 66 degrees.
Tuesday morning looks pretty weak for the West facing beaches with some small, knee to waist high wind swell.
The new South swell should dish up some nice, chest to shoulder high sets for the most exposed spots in the OC and San O’ areas.
The tide looks a little fat around 8:30 but overall it shouldn’t do too much damage at the beach breaks.
