For Tuesday morning we’ll start to see some fresh SW swell move in through the day. Things will likely start out pretty inconsistent, with sporadic, waist high sets out of the South. By days end the consistency and size should increase and it looks like we’ll have a decent run of South swell for the rest of the week.

Wednesday morning should be pretty good as the that 16-18 second, long interval energy, from a 200 degree angle puts the better South facing breaks into the shoulder to head high range.

We’ll also see some unseasonal, NW ground swell roll in from a 300 degree angle. This won’t amount to more than waist high plus sets but everything helps.

The tide is super shallow early so don’t pull into any real brown barrels unless you have a legit shot at making it…

2013-06-26 Wed 08:09 PM Sunset
2013-06-26 Wed 10:47 PM Moonrise

The conditions look okay with light and variable breezes going 1-3 MPH until 10 and increase up to 12 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp will jump up to a balmy 76 degrees.

Thursday morning should be another good day for waves for So Cal. That SW energy from a 200 degree angle will back down a hair but still carry plenty of punch and keep the top South facing beaches in the shoulder to head high plus zone.

The NW energy will kick it up a notch and deliver waist to chest high sets to the best West facing breaks.

Tide remains frightening low for the dawn patrol which will hinder the size and shape at many breaks.
