SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 4-21-14
______________________________________________________________________________
Tuesday morning could be good if the winds don’t muck things up.
That steep NW energy will generate chest to shoulder high + sets at the most exposed West facing breaks. Like I said earlier, most spots will get stymied due to the steep nature of the angle, but the exposed spots will see some good sets!
Another steep SW swell will pulse in through the day, from that same 185+ degree angle. The intervals will be 16-18 seconds and should dish up chest high plus sets for the top spots in the OC and San O’ regions.
I’m liking the fact that the Southern Hemisphere is already showing signs of life. It might be a good summer! Lord knows we deserve it!

For Wednesday morning we’ll see a combination of NW wind swell and ground swell from that same steep 300-305 degree angle. This should generate chest to head high surf for the best West facing breaks.
The South swell will be on the fade, (185 degrees with 14-16 seconds), but will dish up chest high sets for the most exposed South facing beaches.
