For Thursday morning we’ll be seeing some new, NW, medium interval swell fill in through the day and produce chest high surf for the better West facing breaks.

The SW energy will peak and dole out chest high sets for any spot that has a peek at the SW and shoulder high waves at the top spots in the OC and San O’ areas.

The conditions look okay with variable breezes in the 1-4 MPH range until noon and mild 4-8 MPH winds out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 66 degrees and there’s a 10% chance of rain.

For Friday morning we’ll see a combo of medium interval, (12-13 seconds) out of the NW from a steep 300-305 degree angle and some Southern hemi energy with 14-16 second intervals from a 195-200 degree angle. Both the West and SW facing beaches should dish up chest high sets with an occasional larger wave rolling through at the top spots.

The conditions look much better today on the wind models. Things look good in the AM with variable winds in the 2-4 MPH range until noon and 6-8 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. There’s now only a 10% chance of rain and the air temp tops out at 64 degrees.

For Saturday morning we’re projected to see some new, NW Wind swell enter the fray with 10-12 second intervals from a Westerly 285-290 degree angle. The surf should get up into the shoulder high to OH zone for the better West facing breaks.

The SW energy will be on the fade but continue to produce waist to chest high sets in the AM and slowly fade throughout the day.

The conditions look pretty good based on todays wind model projections. We’re looking at variable 3-7 MPH winds out of the E/SE until noon and 7-15 MPH in the afternoon. There’s a 20% chance of rain and the air temp tops out at 63 degrees.

For Sunday morning we’ll see the NW wind swell continue to dish up head high to OH peaks for the top West facing beaches.

Some new SW energy will roll in from a 195-200 degree angle with 16-18 second intervals. The better SW facing spots should see some punchy waist to chest high sets throughout the day.
