Hurricane Watch The eastern and central Pacific tropical basins remain devoid of any tropical activity, and no development is likely for at least the next 24-48 hours.

There is a very slight chance the vestiges of Tropical Storm Franklin may make it over the Sierra Madre Plateau later this week and potentially redevelop over the Eastern Pacific. There are still many uncertainties with regards to this possibility.

An area off the west coast of Central America will have to be monitored for possible development sometime this upcoming weekend.
