HURRICANE WATCH: The Eastern Pacific has quieted down and no tropical activity is expected through this week.
______________________________________________________________________________

For Wednesday morning that ground swell will be on the fade but continue to dish up chest high plus sets with some larger waves rolling through in the AM.

Tides and conditions both look favorable and FYI the water temp remains in the low to mid 60’s as we head into December.

Wednesday
2015-12-02 Wed 03:20 AM 4.16 feet High Tide
2015-12-02 Wed 06:42 AM Sunrise

2015-12-02 Wed 11:37 PM Moonrise
2015-12-02 Wed 11:42 PM Last Quarter

The conditions look great with NE winds in the 4-8 MPH range until noon, (stronger below passes and canyons), and then go slack with 1-4 MPH breezes out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp gets up to a warm 73 degrees.

Thursday morning looks smaller with waist to possibly chest high sets, (for the exposed West facing breaks), as the NW energy fades through the day.

Thursday
2015-12-03 Thu 04:15 AM 4.39 feet High Tide
2015-12-03 Thu 06:42 AM Sunrise
2015-12-03 Thu 10:21 AM 2.47 feet Low Tide

2015-12-03 Thu 04:44 PM Sunset
2015-12-03 Thu 09:53 PM 1.26 feet Low Tide

The conditions should be good again with winds out of the NE/NNE in the 2-7 MPH range until noon, (stronger below passes and canyons), and 6-10 MPH breezes out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp dips slightly to 70 degrees.

For Friday we should see another jump up in size for the best West facing breaks. We’ll see 16 second interval NW ground swell, (from 285-295 degrees), in the chest to head high zone early, for the top beaches and that should continue to strengthen quickly into the OH to DOH range.

This swell isn’t looking particularly clean but should pack a wallop. A sheltered reef or point looks to be the best bet. Beach breaks will likely be daunting, unruly and walled.

Friday

2015-12-04 Fri 04:57 AM 4.65 feet High Tide
2015-12-04 Fri 06:43 AM Sunrise

2015-12-04 Fri 04:48 PM 3.46 feet High Tide
2015-12-04 Fri 10:42 PM 1.46 feet Low Tide

The conditions look a bit iffy with West winds at 2-8 MPH until noon and continued onshore winds at 9+ MPH until dark. Not howling onshore but the texture of the sea surface may be a bit compromised. The air temp tops out at 67 degrees.

For Saturdaymorning the top West facing beaches will continue to dish up solid OH to well OH surf. The conditions could go either way but regardless there will be tons of swell out there.
