For Friday morning we’ll go back to the drawing board with feeble surf in the knee to waist high range at the top West facing spots. The tides look good for a decent push through the dawn patrol.

Friday

2013-12-06 Fri 06:45 AM Sunrise
2013-12-06 Fri 10:01 AM Moonrise

2013-12-06 Fri 06:12 PM -0.69 feet Low Tide
2013-12-06 Fri 09:14 PM Moonset

The conditions look okay with variable winds out of the East in the 5-8 MPH until noon and then those will shift onshore but remain very light throughout the rest of the day. The air temp will check in at 59 degrees.

Saturday morning looks very questionable as a front blows through. The wind models are showing early variable onshore winds right out of the gate and those will jump up to as high as 10-25 MPH after 10AM. As a result of the stronger than usual local winds the wind swell will pick up through the day and should get up into the chest to shoulder high zone for the better West facing breaks in the afternoon, (but chances are that it won’t be pretty).

Saturday
2013-12-07 Sat 12:57 AM 4.33 feet High Tide
2013-12-07 Sat 06:01 AM 2.33 feet Low Tide

2013-12-07 Sat 07:07 PM -0.20 feet Low Tide
2013-12-07 Sat 10:20 PM Moonset

The conditions look questionable with light winds early then breezes out of the West at 10-25 MPH through the afternoon and a 60% chance of rain. The air temp will top out at 58 degrees.

For Sunday morning we should see the fruits of the wind with chest to maybe shoulder high plus wind peaks for the better West facing beaches. This energy will fade quickly through the day. Winds are forecasted to turn offshore late Saturday night so it may be good for the AM.

Sunday
2013-12-08 Sun 02:00 AM 4.51 feet High Tide
2013-12-08 Sun 06:47 AM Sunrise

2013-12-08 Sun 08:05 PM 0.31 feet Low Tide
2013-12-08 Sun 11:25 PM Moonset

The conditions look pretty good with 5-10 MPH winds, out of the N/NNE until noon and then turn Westerly at 10-12 MPH for the rest of the afternoon. The air temp will remain a frosty 58 degrees.
