Monday morningisn’t looking quite as bad as originally anticipated. That swell we’ve been surfing for the last few days isn’t quite done yet and proved it this morning, (Sunday), with some nice OH sets at the better West facing breaks!
I’m going “glass half full” on this one and hoping there’s a little more swell hanging around than the buoys would have me believe. Hopefully we see some chest to shoulder high sets, (tide permitting), for the AM before it really starts to drop off.
* An early high tide will definitely have an impact on the dawn patrol.

The conditionslook okay but a far cry from the Santa Ana winds from last week. We should see light and variable breezes in the 1-4 MPH zone until around 11AM and those pick up to 6-8 MPH in the afternoon. The air temp dips another notch to 70 degrees on the sand.

For Tuesday morningit looks like we’ll dip into waist high zone for the better West facing breaks and another huge high tide will likely nullify whatever swell is out there.

On Wednesday morning we’ll start off small with knee to waist high surf struggling to make its presence known in spite of yet another high tide.
The good news is that we’re due some fresh Westerly swell from a liberal angle of 270 degrees with 14-16 second intervals. This should fill in late morning and put the most exposed beaches in the head high to OH range.
