1-12-16 I was down here watching this session for about 45 minutes while Lucio was filming and although everyone always says this, “IT LOOKED LIKE PIPELINE”, it really did! Good job fellas! This is slide show 2 of 3.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST UPDATED 1-14-16
Follow us on Facebook Check it out!
Friday morning will continue to dish up noteworthy swell with the best West facing breaks seeing head high to OH sets through the morning and tapering off a bit in the afternoon.
All of this energy will continue to have an ample amount of Westerly direction in it, which means that the more Southerly facing breaks will be receptive, (the swell will just be muffled).

The conditions look good with light and variable winds winds out of the East in the 2-4 MPH zone until 11AM and 4-6 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. There is a 10% chance of rain in the forecast and the air temp tops out at 60 degrees.
Saturday morning will be smallest day we’ve seen in a while but the surf will remain formidable with head high plus sets throughout the day. Don’t be shocked if some larger scout sets from our next swell start to show up later in the afternoon.

The conditions look okay with variable breezes in the 1-4 MPH zone until around 11AM and then blow of the West at 5-8 MPH in the afternoon. There is a 10% chance of rain in the forecast and the air temp tops out at 65 degrees.
For Sunday morning it looks like someone put some more quarters in the wave making machine. Some Fresh NW swell, from a Westerly angle of 285-295 degrees, (17-19 second intervals), filling in later in the day. We will start off with head high to OH sets at first light and then the swell will morph into another OH to DOH + beast as the day wears on. This is a 7foot, deep water swell so I wouldn’t be shocked if it’s even bigger than the last hay maker. I have a feeling that the Monday will be the biggest day of the year so far!!!
The liberal angle of this swell will once again allow for it to get into almost all South facing breaks, (although obviously the swell will be smaller *but safer), than that of the West facing beaches.
