For Wednesday morning we’ll see the coast lit up with muscle flexing swell in the DOH (Double Overhead) to nearly TOH (Triple Overhead) range. All of this energy will be in the 275-290 degree range and really be packing some heat.

*Be wary of the urban runoff. The water will undoubtedly be filthy, so if you do surf, be sure to wear ear plugs and rinse you nose, ears and body thoroughly as soon as you get out of the water. Obviously it is advised to stay high and dry.

The conditions look predictably unpredictable so here’s a graph with the wind projections from one of my trusted sources. There is a 90% chance of rain and the air temp tops out at 59 degrees.

For Thursday morning we’ll see our biggest surf of the season so far. The top West facing breaks will be thumping, pumping and dumping with DOH (Double Overhead) to TOH (Triple Overhead) plus waves.

With the drop in the jet stream these swells will continue to have quite a bit of West in them, (275-295 degrees), and will definitely push their way into every nook and cranny on the coast.

*Be wary of the urban runoff. The water quality will continue to be compromised.
