HURRICANE WATCH: A large area of showers and thunderstorms is located well southwest of the Baja California peninsula in the eastern Pacific Ocean. A tropical depression may slowly develop during the upcoming week with warm water out there.
By Monday we should some fresh SW swell fill in through the day from a 210-215 degree angle with 14-16 second intervals. We’re looking at waist high pulses early and then some chest high sets later in the day.
We’ll also have a dose of NW wind swell in the mix so hopefully the beach breaks will dish up some decent peaks.
Tides look decent and the winds look to be good for spots that like a South Easterly direction.

The conditions should be fair with light breezes out of the SS/SSE in the 4-7 MPH zone until 10AM and 8-10 MPH out of the West in the afternoon. The air temp tops out at 77 degrees.
Tuesday looks a bit better as that swell should be in full swing with chest high plus sets at the most exposed South facing breaks. The angle of 210-215 degrees should allow for any beach with a glimpse at the South at least a little action.
The NW wind swell will remain in the mix so keep your fingers crossed that Mother Nature finally shows us a little love!
