HURRICANE WATCH:

Felicia has weakened to a tropical depression well southwest of the southern tip of Baja California. The storm has sustained winds of 35 mph and is moving to the northwest at 12 mph. Felicia is expected to weaken to a remnant low this weekend and see no other organized tropical features across the Eastern Pacific Basin currently. A tropical wave could form a surface low by early next week, well to the west-southwest of the Baja Peninsula.

Friday morning looks no better as we remain in a waveless rut with only minor background energy in the knee to waist high range.

By Monday we should some fresh SW swell fill in through the day from a 210-215 degree angle with 14-16 second intervals. We’re looking at waist high pulses early and then some chest high sets later in the day. Nothing to get real excite about but finally a little something to ride.

Tuesday looks a bit better as that swell should be in full swing with chest high plus sets at the most exposed South facing breaks. The angle of 210-215 degrees should allow for any beach with a glimpse at the South at least a little action.
